The purpose of this study was to empower women through professional and training skills in Samburu, Mararal Diocese. The research was conducted at Irene Girl training center. The respondents provided useful information in the empowerment of young women, which has its positive impact on the people around the Samburu community. The researcher reflected on the need for empowering young women so as to find ways of addressing the difficulties confronting young women today in that particular community and in the society at large. Through the interviews, questionnaires and observations given to different groups it is evident that young women long for a better life that will bring them to a full integration in the community.
